Aug 2015 (Taycen 5 yr Jair 3 yr)

August was a quit month for us. We hung some shelves on the walls of the boy's rooms so they would have a place to store their treasures. We also built a small stage for hand puppets out of boxes, then found that the small windows in the playhouse under the stairs also served as an excellent state for hand puppets. Gingerbread is always a favorite at our house, so Mom made a gingerbread man. The boys wanted to get the costumes out and play dress up. One day, out in the yard, just as it was starting to get dark, Taycen found and captured a small snake and put it in a cup.

Jul 2015 (Taycen 5 yr Jair 3 yr)

The vacation fun continued into July and we spent the 4th of July in Disneyland. It was the Diamond Celebration of Disneyland, so the fireworks were amazing. They did two shows back to back. The nightly Diamond Celebration fireworks, then the 4th of July fireworks. Wow! When we returned home, Taycen and Paisley graduated from their Upstart reading program. They did daily computer time for a year and earned Gold stars. We went to the South Town Expo center to see the 24th of July parade floats, Cambry celebrated her 3rd birthday, and Joseph and Megan got engaged and had a family engagement party.
