Life has kept us pretty busy. Taycen is walking and running and exploring all his toys. . .and things that are not his toys but he thinks they are. He surprised mom the other day when they were in Wal-Mart and he put his fingers up to his mouth signing that he wanted food. Mom was so shocked but estatic at his learning. (We've been doing the sign for a few months off and on now.) So now everytime he wants something to eat, he puts his fingers to his mouth. How can you resist?
He loves to read books and often brings a book to mom or dad to have them read. One of his favorite books is Woody's Hoedown that has buttons he can press to make sounds. But he loves any book. He carries them from level to level. He also has gotten into the habit of carrying around his favorite blanket, a yellow blanket made by Natalie's friend, Janelle. We worry that he will trip on it carrying it up and down the stairs so we have to replace it with another. The only other one he will accept is his blue baby blanket made by his aunt Rebecca. He loves to grab the blankets and suck his thumb.
We will try our best to update the blog, but for now here are some pictures from the month of January.
Running amok with mom's dishtowel.
Here you go dad! You can have some of MY
popcorn.
MMM! Yogurt shake!
Do I have any on my face?
I was saving it for later.
It's later.
I said it's later. I'm ready for more!!
Did I miss Hanukkah? Dad says I look like
a little Jewish man or a little old lady.
Playing with my couch.
Rolling my couch.
What?!! This isn't a toy?!! That doesn't mean I can't
play with it.
Helping mom check out the local ads. If I can get it
for free it's a good deal, right mom?
Did you know my couch is a convertible?
Mesmerized. . .
