The playhouse April 2014

The Easter bunny brought Taycen and Jair a wooden playhouse with two slides and a swing set. The boys were so excited to get it up and go down the slides. They have enjoyed sending all of their dump trucks and outside tricks down the slides. The slide isn't up just yet, but Mom and Dad are still working on that one. We added a pressure treated foundation to the playhouse so it doesn't rot as fast and we also attached it to posts that we cemented into the ground for support. That will add stability to the play system when we attach the swing set.

 

Mar 2014 (Taycen 4 yr 5 mo Jair 2 yr 1 mo)

Papa came up and took Taycen to the Museum of Natural History at the University of Utah. Taycen loved seeing all of the dinosaurs and spending time with Papa. Since it is warming up we have been outside playing with the neighbors. Momma made some special cakes and fruit platter for St. Patrick's day.

Feb 2014 (Taycen 4 yr 4 mo Jair 2 yr)

Nanny and Papa stopped by and played with the boys for a little at the beginning of the month. We also make cookies and gingerbread men, played with cars and before you knew it, we were celebrating Jair's birthday. Jair turned 2 on the 25th and we had a little party and family get together for him. Uncle Nick helped Natalie bake and decorate a penguin cake for Jair.
